Final Fantasy 16 Will Officially Be Released in Summer 2023

Final Fantasy 16’s latest trailer has finally arrived and it was filled with gameplay and some of our favorite summons (Eikons in FF16) from Final Fantasy’s history, including Phoenix, Titan, Garuda, Ramuh, Shiva, Odin, Bahamut, and Ifrit.

Final Fantasy 16’s protagonist Clive Rosfield also was featured in this “Dominance” trailer, and it showed how he and his team will take on the many enemies that will undoubtedly get in your way in the game’s story.

It also revealed that Final Fantasy 16 will be released on PS5 in Summer 2023. The game can currently be played from start to finish and the team is using all this time to polish the game the best they can.

Resident Evil 4 Remake Officially Announced

Resident Evil 4 Remake is officially on its way and it will be released on March 24, 2023. Capcom is looking to reimagine the “storyline of the game while keeping the essence of its direction, modernizing the graphics and updating the controls to a modern standard.”

PSVR2 owners will also be able to look forward to some type of VR content, although no further details were given.

Resident Evil Village Is Getting the VR Treatment

Resident Evil Village will soon allow players to visit its world in a brand new way as it will be made available for PlayStation VR 2. And yes, it will be the complete campaign, meaning you will have to experience [redacted] in VR.

VR will also let players guard by actually lifting their arms and will give them the option to use different weapons in each hand for even more combat opportunities.

Street Fighter 6’s First Gameplay Trailer Was Shown Alongside a 2023 Release Window

Street Fighter 6 will brawl its way to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation in 2023 (it’s also coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC). While that may be a bit of a wait for some, Capcom has provided fans with an extended look at gameplay for the latest entry in the legendary fighting franchise.

Street Fighter 6 is being built on Capcom’s RE Engine – the same engine used for Resident Evil 7 and Village – and it will allow for improved graphics alongside a more stylish experience that will be filled with “explosive splashes of paint and the striking graffiti treatment.”

As we wait for more news, Street Fighter fans will be happy to know Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke, and newcomer Jamie are all already signed on to the roster.

Horizon Call of the Mountain Will Will Let You Experience Horizon in a Whole New Way

The latest State of Play gave us an extended look at Horizon Call of the Mountain’s gameplay, which is coming exclusively to PSVR2.

In this new story set in the world of the first two games, players will become a former Shadow Carja Warrior named Ryas who is looking to redeem himself by “investigating a grave new threat to the Sundom. He excels at climbing and archery (which are great for VR) and will have to do such things as scale “perilous mountains” and “taking down mighty machines like the Thunderjaw.”

Even though players won’t be seeing this world through the eyes of Aloy, they will run across them and other familiar and new faces along the journey.

This will also potentially be a great showpiece for the PSVR2 as, alongside the story mode, there will be a River Ride mode that will take players down a… well… river to enjoy the beautiful scenery. However, that doesn’t mean there won’t be some “uninvited machines” that try to get aboard.
